The staircase of the building connects five apartments, two on ground floor and three on the first one. At present only one another family (a couple) lives there all year round. The owner of the other three apartments lives far away and he use them for vacation only. Local people are very simple and friendly
Location

The apartmnet is  in an old traditional 'Rustico' style building dating back to the year 1700. The house is located in Terricciola, a small village on a hill  20 km from Volterra (a famous and beautiful Etruscan Town), 30km  from Pisa (the nearest airport) and 40km from  Lucca. Terricciola is famous for the good wine  and its many festivals. There are several annual festivals throught the year: the Chocolate Festival in April, the Strawberry Festival in May and The Wine Festival in September. One of the most beautiful features of Terricciola is the panoramic view of the famous rolling green hills of Tuscany.
